Methodology
Sources and methodology
Where our numbers come from, how we choose sources and how our tools calculate results.
Source standards
- Primary sources first: government statistics agencies, official gazettes, regulators
- Reputable secondary reporting only when it quotes a named primary source (for example, an industry association)
- Every number shows its source and as-of date
- No unattributed or self-reported ExecWing client metrics until we publish them with methodology
Sources we cite
- IBPAP Industry Overview
- National Privacy Commission
- Official Gazette of the Republic of the Philippines
- Philippine Statistics Authority
- US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Employer Costs for Employee Compensation
- US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Occupational Outlook Handbook
- timeanddate.com
How our tools work
- Time-zone calculator: uses your browser's built-in time-zone database (IANA) for the chosen date, so daylight-saving changes are applied automatically. Philippine Standard Time is UTC+8 with no DST.
- Delegation checklist: hour estimates are rough planning defaults chosen by our team, not measured averages; adjust them for your week.
- Role quiz and job description generator: rule-based; they do not use your data and run only in your browser.
- Cost calculator: an estimate based on the inputs you provide; see the page for assumptions.
