Where our assistants are based.
ExecWing places dedicated, full-time assistants from three talent markets: the Philippines, Mexico and Colombia. Wherever they're based, they work your US business hours.
Where are ExecWing assistants based?
ExecWing places dedicated, full-time assistants from the Philippines, Mexico and Colombia with US companies. Every assistant works your US business hours. Mexico (mostly UTC-6) and Colombia (UTC-5) share US business hours with no daylight saving time, while Philippines-based assistants (UTC+8) work a night shift to match your day.
The Philippines
A large, experienced business-services workforce, with English as an official language. Philippine Standard Time is UTC+8 with no daylight saving time, so assistants work your US hours on a night shift, which is standard practice in the sector.
Why the Philippines →Mexico
Nearshore talent with natural time-zone overlap. Most of Mexico, including Mexico City, stays on UTC-6 all year (daylight saving time ended in most of the country in 2022), so a normal local working day lines up with the US business day.
Colombia
Nearshore talent on UTC-5 all year, with no daylight saving time: the same clock as US Eastern in winter and one hour behind it in summer. Assistants work a normal local day that overlaps yours.
How each country lines up with US time
Hours ahead (+) or behind (−) your US time zone. The first figure is during US standard time, the second during US daylight saving time.
| US time zone | Mexico City (UTC-6) | Bogotá (UTC-5) | Manila (UTC+8) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eastern | −1 h / −2 h | 0 h / −1 h | +13 h / +12 h |
| Central | 0 h / −1 h | +1 h / 0 h | +14 h / +13 h |
| Mountain | +1 h / 0 h | +2 h / +1 h | +15 h / +14 h |
| Pacific | +2 h / +1 h | +3 h / +2 h | +16 h / +15 h |
Some parts of Mexico use other time zones; the Mexico figures are for Mexico City and the many states that share its time. See our US coverage and time zones page.
Choosing a talent market
- Mexico or Colombia when the role needs lots of live calls and real-time collaboration during your day, because your assistant works a normal local day that overlaps yours.
- The Philippines when you want a deep, established business-support talent pool that is used to working US hours.
- Not sure? We'll recommend a market for your role on the fit call. If you also need Spanish, mention it.
One vetting process in every country.
Every candidate goes through the same multi-stage vetting: written and spoken English assessed in every round, role-specific skills tests, a structured interview, references and a home-office check with backup internet and power. Assistants work in English, inside your tools, on a full-time schedule agreed at onboarding.
